CBBC wanted to create a range of customisable characters for children aged 6-12 to choose from, to host any worries and joys in their lives. They were looking for an injection of edginess and mischief, fun and humour but at the same time didn’t want to trivialise the concerns that their audience would project onto the characters.
Livity created a fully customisable set of characters originating from a few basic shapes. The user is taken through a journey to create their ideal character – choosing from body and head shapes, features, textures and accessories. The result: a family of customisable unique characters that our audience would feel proud to represent them and their worries.
