Since last year, Livity and Channel 4 have been delivering somewhereto_, a key project of the Cultural Olympiad. somewhereto_ is all about enabling and empowering 16 to 25 year-olds across the UK to find spaces to do the things that they love, by working with them to secure access to spaces they need but don’t have – whatever their thing and wherever they want to do it.
We are inviting experienced organisations to submit expressions of interest to manage regional activity for somewhereto_, brokering space between young people and space-holders, and providing on-the-ground support to bring young people’s passions to life.
Organisations should have extensive regional knowledge and contacts, and a proven track record of quality delivery with 16 to 25 year-olds. Ideally you will have established links with both local business and local government, as well as knowledge of urban development and opening new space. We’re looking for natural inspirers and mobilisers, with the initiative and vision to get things done.
