Have you ever wondered what goes into making a brand’s marketing campaign?

Managing client relationships, researching the target audience, formulating the campaign strategy and creating the visuals and copy that make up the end product – these are all the elements that go into producing the brand campaigns you know and love.

Digify is our exciting new career opportunity open to BAME 18-25 year olds across London, aiming to increase diversity within the creative sector and give the best and brightest the opportunity to carve out a career in marketing in some of the best creative businesses in London.

2 months of immersive digital marketing workshops, inspiring speakers, and practical workplace training will be delivered by Livity, in partnership with Sainsbury’s before an intensive 6-month paid placement at some of biggest and brightest digital and creative businesses in the UK.

No experience or qualifications necessary, we’re looking for passion, creativity and a thirst to learn, simple as.

What is the application process?

In the application form you will be asked to provide your personal details, an up-to-date CV and a response to the marketing question “Tell us about a campaign that you think was successful and why”.

This is your opportunity to showcase your understanding of what makes a good advert/campaign. There’s no wrong answer, just share your opinion. Here are some pointers to guide you:

  • What was the aim of the advert/campaign in your opinion
  • Who was the target audience
  • Do you think the advert/campaign was suitable for the target audience, why?
  • Was the advert/campaign successful and why?

Record your response as a short video, no longer than 2 minutes, explaining the campaign you chose and why you thought it was effective, using the prompt questions above. You can record the response on your phone, using your laptop or a camera, it’s up to you. You can also answer the question in a presentation that has no more than 4 slides. It should be visually appealing and well-structured.

You can attach your response as a file or as a link via dropbox, Google Drive, or other online storage tools.

PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept any applications where a cover letter is submitted instead of a marketing  response!


What are the key dates for this round of Digify?

  • Applications close at midnight on Sunday 26th February
  • If you are successful, you will need to be free to attend an assessment day at Livity on Thursday 2nd March
  • You will need to be free to attend training from Monday 13th March to Friday 5th May, and placement from Monday 15th May for 6 months.


Is the 2 month training paid?

Yes, you will be paid the London Living Wage.


Will I be paid during the 6 month work placement? How much?

Yes, you will be paid during your placement at one of the best digital and creative agencies in the UK. Salaries will be competitive and follow industry standards.
